Director of Product Management, Aries Systems Corporation; 2001 – 2020
Managed the design and rollout of the Editorial Manager (EM) and ProduXion Manager (PM) systems.
- Built and lead a team of systems analysts responsible for designing features and functions for the EM system.
- Helped define the strategic direction of Aries Systems, including new product ideas and new market opportunities.

Following the acquisition of SilverPlatter by HealthStream, continued designing CME products and services. Served as the Director of the Boston Office.

Responsible for defining the publishing direction and assisted in designing the software products used to deliver the educational content.
- Built an editorial team that included physician writers, librarians and educators, and launched one of the first online CME forums for medical professionals.
- Negotiated with and provided editorial guidance to physician authors and editors for continuing medical education programming.
- Worked with software designers, educational design experts, artists and animators on state-of-the-art interactive software products.
- Lead the organization through the accreditation process with the ACCME to successfully become an accredited CME provider.

Responsible for processing submitted manuscripts, working with editors to secure peer reviewers, compiling reviews and communicating editor decisions.
- Created administrative reports that measured reviewer and editor performance, workload, topic and regional distribution, etc.
- Designed an electronic tracking system using File Maker Pro to track the peer review process and to make it easier to check the status of manuscripts, run reports and manage the workflow.
