I’m a scholarly publishing professional with more than thirty-five years of experience across product development, software design, editorial and publishing workflows, client management, business development, and organizational leadership. 

I am the Co-Founder of Scholarly Publishing Solutions. We’re a consulting team with decades of experience running and growing scholarly publishing organizations. Our sweet spot is peer review and editorial workflows—from policy and best practices to systems design, research integrity, and the practical use of AI. We help publishers improve efficiency, strengthen trust, and modernize without losing sight of what makes scholarly communication work. 

Over the course of my career, I’ve worked across every stage of the publishing lifecycle, with a particular focus on building practical, scalable solutions that support innovation, interoperability, and research integrity. I served as Senior Vice President at HighWire Press for five years, where I helped guide product strategy, innovation, and market development. Before that, I spent nearly two decades at Aries Systems leading product management for Editorial Manager and ProduXion Manager. 

Throughout my career, I’ve built teams, developed products, supported publishers around the world, and contributed to cross-industry standards and initiatives aimed at strengthening scholarly communications for the greater good.
